Probably the most popular survey report for today's residential property buyer by far.

As a quick reference guide we have called this the 'Silver' standard Report.
It is undoubtedly the most popular survey amongst homebuyers today and so it suits most people as much as it suits most property.
The main exception would be for unusual or very delapidated property or property over 100 to 150 years old.
In our experience they have been carried out on property from £200,000 to £1.6 million.
checklist and extra detail
The report is designed to be easy to read and also has this colour coded ready reference system. However there is plenty of scope to include further information where necessary so with a good surveyor it can be quite a full report.

Licensed by Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors, the present version of the report was introduced in July 2009.
…plus valuation included
Part of the report includes a valuation of the property. Here it differs from both the Condition Report and the Building Survey.
If you are really not interested in having a valuation (and this is not unusual in today's market) then you may wish to consider one of these other reports either to save a little or invest more into finding out about the property.
